Thick hot chocolate in a cream mug with cocoa dusting

Proper Hot Chocolate

Hot program · Makes 2–3 mugs

Not the powder-in-hot-water kind. This comes out of the jug thick, glossy and properly chocolatey — and you know every single thing that's in it.

Ingredients

  • 600 ml oat or almond milk (or 50 g oats + 600 ml water to make it in one go)
  • 2 tbsp good cocoa powder
  • 1–2 pitted dates, or 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • A pinch of salt

Method

  1. Everything into your Lattveo One.
  2. Run the hot program.
  3. Pour into mugs. That's it.

The Lattveo tip

Winter upgrade: add ¼ tsp cinnamon and the tiniest pinch of chilli — it deepens the chocolate without tasting spicy. For the kids' version, one extra date instead.
